About me

I am a recent graduate of Ba (Hons) Costume Design and Construction at Nottingham Trent University.
My work is an artistic interpretation of the past, mixing historical shapes with a playful design style. I am particularly interested in the early 20th century, drawing inspiration from Edwardian beauties to the vamps of silent film.
Specialising in costume making, I work across womenswear, corsetry, beading, and textile painting, alongside complex pattern drafting and technical sewing. After graduating, I would like to begin my career as a maker, developing skills appropriate for film, tv, and theatre.
